Prepare a pay run
A pay run is a frozen copy of Timesheet hours and dollars for one person and one period. It does not change punches. It is not a tax paycheck.
1. Get the Timesheet right
Open Timesheet Report. Fix missed punches first (Correct a missed punch).
2. Select the person in Contact
Use the Contact control (the picker or the dropdown). Do not rely on the Search box.
Search only hides rows. Save pay run uses the Contact selector. If Contact is still All, the app warns you and will not save a run for “everyone on the screen.”
3. Read the footer and the dollar statement
The footer shows item count, total, regular, overtime, and spread for visible rows.
Click $ when you have one person selected to open the statement (regular, overtime, spread, total). That math is what the pay run stores.
4. Save pay run
Click Save pay run at the bottom of Timesheet.
If it works, you can open Pay Runs and see a new card for that person and period.
What gets stored
Hours and money as they appeared on that Timesheet. Later punch edits do not change an old pay run. To replace it, managers use Pay Runs (or save again according to your process). Canceled runs drop out of Operation Report totals.
Overtime on a two-week or month window may not match a true weekly 40-hour split. Prefer a week that matches Settings Beginning of week until that split is weekly.
